I picked my most neglected toilet for the photo op! We suffer from hard water where we live. We also have three bathrooms with only two people so this particular toilet gets forgotten about often! I know, it’s scary looking. But not after using these pumice stones! I’ve used this periodically throughout my short time being a homeowner and they are the ONLY thing that works for hard water, toilet rings, and nasty build up. I cleaned THREE toilets with one stone, so I’ve got three more stones to use for backup. When faced with the option of cleaning an impossibly difficult Toto toilet that had a thick rather ugly layer of lime and hard water scale at the bottom of the bowl (yellowish brown colored and thick) I tried everything from your standard toilet cleaning sprays, to mild muriatic acid solutions to Ajax cleaners. I tried draining the toilet and cleaning, tried different brushes, nothing worked UNTIL I researched and came upon pumice cleaning stones online. I thought, what have I got to lose? This toilet cost more than $1000 and I was at the point of figuring I would just have to replace it. So I bought a pack of these excellent pumice stones and, leaving clean water in the bowl while I worked, was able to restore the porcelain surface to new condition. Smooth absolutely clean surfaces.
These stones are amazing. Basically you grab a stone (they are shaped into rectangular blocks with a plastic covering), peel back some of the plastic covering to expose some of the stone, and start rubbing away, peeling away more plastic as you go. Off comes the scale! The stone wears away into a fine powder as you work, so it's good to occasionally flush the toilet as you go to keep the water clear-- then you'll see your progress! This toilet was really scaled so it took a couple of the pumice sticks to get it 100% clean. The toilet is now like new again! It flushes like a new toilet again. I'm so glad I found this product! Amazing!
One additional thing I did, using a small nail set, was to poke that into the water jet openings and knock off a few chunks of water scale where the openings were too small for the block to reach. I was careful not to scratch those areas. Perhaps a smaller pumice stick would have fit into those openings?

So, one time, a couple decades ago in the past I used a soft pumice stone to scrub out water marks in the toilet bowl that wouldn't come out with anything. That only previous time was a total failure and left permanent black marks and so I never used another one, and thankfully never needed to... until now.
These were GREAT! I was able to get the gunk out of the bowl easily - light scrub only - and it didn't damage anything and certainly didn't leave marks! I'll be keeping these for the rare future use that I'll need them, for sure!
And I love that these don't have a plastic handle that's just going to end up in the ocean or something! Put the rubber gloves on!

The water here, she is a harsh mistress. The calcium deposits alone are enough to drive guests awaybwith upturned noses. I.tried comet, hot vinegar, and CLR. The results weren't worth the smell.
I found a piece of pumice at work that a janitor left behind, and wondered aloud why the guy had been removing the hard skin on his soles. My coworker informed me, patiently, that the other use of pumice was scrubbing lime scale off of surfaces. How I'd never heard of this is a mystery. I blame society.

Very happy with the four pack of pumice stones. I bought them specifically to clean the scaling off the tiles around the waterline of my swimming pool once I found out it cost $550. for a tile cleaning company to come out and do it. I looked up "how to clean pool tiles" and found out that pumice stones will do the trick. They arrived promptly and sure enough, it worked like a charm. Saved me a ton of money to just do it myself.

Seems to be an excellent product. Quickly removes the hard water deposits in my fixtures and lasts a long time. If you have never used pumice to clean the hard ring around the waterline in your toilet you have worked too hard. This is the easiest way to make your toilets look new again. Why buy a new toilet when five minutes with a pumice stone will do the trick. It takes longer to R & R the toilet than to clean it with this stone. Get them! BTW I also cleaned the ring that ends up at the drain in the sink.

You might read this review and think it is a total joke, but seriously, it is NOT. This is the best pumice I have ever bought!!! It's lightweight, and porous - so much that it FLOATS on water. If it had legs, it could probably walk on water...and you know where that comparison would be heading! Of course it would finish a distant second if it could walk on water!
Seriously though, the sellers of this pumice take their business to heart. Buy it from them and you will understand what I mean! Since nothing in this world is perfect, this review would be remiss if it did not touch on at least one downside to the product...wait for it... an Operator is not include. Bummer. So you might want to shop for an inexpensive package of elbow grease.

I'm kicking myself for not trying this sooner. For the last three years since moving into our not-new home, I've grumbled about the scale-ridden toilet in the master bathroom. We have particularly hard water, such that after just one year with a new toilet in the main bathroom, scale had already built up massively! I used one full pumice stone for the main bathroom and have used 2 full stones for the master bathroom. I still have more to go on that one, but wow, IT WORKS! I so wish I had taken before and after photos because the transformation is incredible. I'm guessing this may be a once-a-year project, but it's truly worth it. BUY THIS!!!!

As good as pumice can get! I used it to clean the rust stains from my toilet which i thought would be there forever but this worked like a dream! It’s also amazing for using dry on anything that has animal hair stuck to it! I have a cat that loves my memory foam bath mat and my vacuum didn’t do 20% of what pumice does. I was pleasantly surprised how well this pumice stone removes the build up that is under the toilet rim that I have been unsuccessful cleaning in the past. I just never heard of pumice. Until I was having pool tile replaced. He saw that I had calcium build up in my pool and he took it out!!! A block of pumice and he removed the calcium deposits off the pool surface. So I educated my self on pumice and as the pool tech told me to use the smaller sticks so I found the 4 pack and I removed stains from my toilets, sinks, the bbq grill also. I never New about this amazing product!!! Every household should have a few bricks of pumice in there home. It really really works!!!

I got these after seeing a medical show where a young man ingested a small piece of wire off the grill. Dad always used a wire brush to clean the grates before cooking on the grill. Something we did too. This kid almost died. I decided right then to use pumice on the grill instead of wire brushes. They work great...and no wires.

I live in an area with iron-rich soil that tends to stain all of the surfaces it comes in contact with. It was so frustrating to know that my toilets, sinks, etc. were CLEAN, but still looked gross due to water stains. I have bought at least four different cleaning products for this problem and none worked. FINALLY I learned about these pumice stones and SUCCESS! So far I am excited about this product. I have only used it on the covers that go over my gas jets on the top of my gas stove. A little soap and water and a few strokes of the pumice and they looked like new again. And they did not scratch. I was a sceptic.
So I am excited to use it on many other items in my house. I have also decided to buy some for Christmas presents for my sisters. We exchange our favorite things at Christmas time. Recipes, essential oil, hot pad holders, favorite socks. Get it? Nothing romantic or costly, just things that make our every day easier and give us more time for things that are more fun than cleaning.

I could not find a way to clean the waterline ring stain on our toilet bowls, until I used this pumice stone! I tried gels, powders, elbow grease and even power tools scrubbers. It took me about thirty seconds with this stone. I never expected for it to works so well. I can’t believe I didn’t know about pumice stone before now!
The stone does get consumed when using it, but not too much was used after cleaning the entire bowl. I think if I used it to clean one bowl really thorough once a week, one stone would probably last at least 6 months.
I bought the four pack and keep one stone under the sink in each bathroom for ease.

I have had hard water stain issues since moving to the country. Well water is the culprit. I have tried every liquid product and even an electric sander to remove the rings around my toilets. Sander was not a good idea!!
I found this pumice stone toilet cleaner on Amazon and decided to give it a try. OMG! With a little bit of elbow grease this product did the trick far exceeding my expectations. Our toilets look almost new with not a single scratch. Takes about 20 minutes and one stone for each toilet.

Pulled them out of the package and used one the day they arrived. I had a very stubborn toilet ring that I couldn't scrub off. It did a perfect job and the ugly stubborn ring is gone! I chose to get these over the ones with handles because I can easily use a glove if I need to and with handles they either break off or they are run part way through the middle of the pumice stone so you don't get full use of your stone. These are perfect for my needs.

Our home was a short sale and the house was vacant for 6 months and was previously a rental. When we finally moved in, the toilets had a ring around the water line that every product would not get rid of. I thought we would have to replace the toilets until I used this product. With very little effort, I was able to make my toilets look brand new. The stone was easy to hold, it didn't break when I was using it, and it was packaged well where each stone had its own wrapping and then they are wrapped together. This makes for easy storing. Finally was able to clean my stove top of baked on grease and stains. I've tried numerous grease removers, sponges, steel wool. Nothing! I than discovered from a plumber that he uses a pumice stone to remove rust stains from around sinks. So, I tried it on my stove top and the stuck on grease and stains wiped right off. No scratch, and no rubbed off paint.
These pumice stones are extremely fine grain and did not scratch the surface.
My old stove top looks new again!

This product saved our toilets! We get a lot of hard water build up that makes horrible green and brown stains all over the bowl that are impossible to get off. I’ve tried every other type of toilet brush and some noxious chemicals and nothing worked. These pumice stones are a miracle! They are able to scrape the hard water stains right off with no chemicals. With just a little elbow grease my toilets look brand new. You can use no chemicals. Just some baking soda possibly. Typical cleaning supplies are toxic. Bad for environment and bad for you. These tools help us avoid that.

After many types of chemical cleaning products that did not work to remove the soap buildup on my shower tile, I decided to try this pumice

Like most people I had a stubborn toilet I could not get cleaned with any chemical or mechanical means, even using wire brushes. So I bought the Elevate Essentials Pumice to give it try. As already reviewed here, it worked perfectly and removed all the stains. Very happy! Then I started using the pumice on other problems I had. If used gently, it removes hard water spots from chrome without scratching. I found it removes rust from metal pretty well and also found it’s great at removing overspray from a part that I had painted. It removes scuffs from walls and stubborn smudges on ceramic tile. I am looking forward to coming up with other uses as time goes on. Definitely a product I will continue to buy!

I don't know what the long term effects are of these on a scaled toilet bowl, but they did the trick for clearing of the hardware lime deposits and scale. Slick, shiny and new. I followed up with a few coats of Gel Gloss in the bowl to aid in repelling future deposits.
